hello, have philips go gear 8gb mp3 player, i'm running ubuntu 12.04. problem though delete folders on mp3 player, ubuntu doesn't recognize , never shows me free space. ubuntu it's never deleted file. worst part clementine doesn't let me add more music because it's showing full when it's not. hint on what's going on? don't want music sync in windows. if can't use on work i'll go crazy. if right click mp3 player says file system msdos. have no idea if that's of help. thank how deleting files? make sure deleted, , not sitting in trash folder... files should appear in main trash folder, long empty should free space back. if have disconnected device before emptying trash, might have go , manually delete hidden trash folder (".trash-1000" or similar) on device itself... have of noticed difference in power usage on laptop? amazed @ how light xfce runs. laptop battery lifetime went 4h ~2.75h of full usage (wifi & work) on either unity or gnome shell. temperature ~5°c lower. though miss things liked on gnome (mainly alt+tab switcher, xfce's 1 sucks ) can officialy dig xfce. i use xfce , have read rumors confirming say. interesting see actual stats. phoronix maybe? hi have installed backup tool (lucky backup) seems want (i have tried backing folder folder locally) want backup files smb share on nas. can access smb shares across network no problem. however, when try configure backup tool point smb share can't find mount point. have looked in ~/.gfs, /media , /mnt folders, can't find it. i've come across post states may in ~/.cache/gvfs/ instead, it's not there either. know need please? here's basic problem: run 4 computers behind level 1 (wbr-6002) wireless router , arris (comcast) modem. might tool along couple of days or week our internet connection inevitably crashes. go through rigamarole of rebooting both router , modem 30 minutes or several hours before manage sync (??), lights come on , we're connected internet again. note -- when router crashes, can on net bypassing router , plugging pc directly modem, signal comcast there. read solution problem , tried -- reset mac address copy of pc mac address. router lights came on , in business -- except wife's windows 7 laptop, shows ssid of our home network tells have no internet, when other computers connected. besides win 7 machine, 2 computers run ubuntu 12.10, , other 1 runs windows 8. question: there better way configure router, or need new router? if so, known work comcast arris modem? guess thought, switched comcast 20 mbps speed. never had problems when our speed 1 mbp

does here have experience traingulating wifi signals? kind of software , hardware need? want show effect of "you here", "wifi here". know can find wifi singal strength , signals. want able see direction , how far away. have have 2 wireless devices , use them doppler or can accomplished single device. hi, don't think have exact answer want, similar. installed dd-wrt firmware on router (it's great open-source firmware that's better stock way options, etc...) , called wiviz (i'm not sure of exact name). anyway utility shows 3d map of networks around (and clients too) in grid. it's hard pinpoint networks , utility isn't great it'll give idea. don't know accuracy though. edit: it's called wiviz, might want see if can find install on pc... hi, installed digiwf because wan't able add metadata images ease. installed through software centre , far can tell has installed properly, have no idea how use it. when right-click on image gives no options add metadata , theres no signs of digiwf related. says in software centre program in run in terminal typing in digiwf says theres no such file upload. i installed ubuntu, didn't , uninstalled using os-uninstaller, caused problems. tried fix reinstalling ubuntu, because remember being able access windows 8 then.however, computer screwed , i'm posting running trial ubuntu off thumb drive. in detail: 1.after boot(no bios)-loads windows 8 (circlular dots moving icon), , loads infinitely, after next boot loads windows 8 , says "repair", leads system repair screen refresh/clean/advanced. 2.after boot(with bios accessed lenovo icon loads)- have list between (in order) ubuntu, windows boot manager, flash drive. choosing flash drive gets install ubuntu/try out black choice screen, , choosing ubuntu or windows boot manager leads stuff mentioned in 1. not sure quickboot is, , i've tried turning secureboot off actual value secureboot never updates. please help, i'm dead without computer d: again post link bootinfo report. post link boot

mac os 10.9.2, pscs 5.1, camera raw 6.7. i have installed additional rgb profiles in lbrary/ application support/adobe/color/profiles, , in colorsync. show , usable. i have been unable find way add profile workflow options in camera raw. there doesn't seem folder in application support/adobe, or preference.  4 profiles srgb, adobe 1998, color match, , pro photo in pulldown. i able use best rgb, don rgb,and max rgb better green , not waste bits in pro photo due invisible primaries. believe kodak's original intent prophoto capture yellows , oranges of ektachrome, required imaginary primaries move right hand edge on them.  these other profiles go deeper green , seem more useful. acr 6.7 can use 4 hardcoded color spaces....you can't add them. acr 8.x (for cs6 & cc) allow select icc profile (rgb or cmyk or lab) in workflow options, not in acr 6.x.   btw, best rgb , don rgb fit within prophoto rgb. benefit (if it's benefit) 2 profiles not go far in red primary. however
