hi all,   my current game has large number of moving objects (but not overly large) - 100 moving on screen @ once.  of these bullets , small (e.g. 16x16). using gpu mode.  graphics bitmaps, , furthermore, i'm using object pooling everything, , bullets , enemies etc kept in linked lists (which faster vectors<>).  bullets share same bitmapdata.  there perhaps 15 different bitmapdata in use.   in situations - after unleashing bullet storm of sort (say 30 bullets @ once flying out in directions player) - graphics behave strangely.  framerate still high, of bullets move in staggered sort of way instead of smoothly.  they'll move forward bit, slow or stop, shoot off again bit.  tends happen towards edges/corners of screen while action in middle ok.    has noticed before?   the other thing of large consequence bitmapdata covers entire screen in background.  it's bitmapdata 0.25% width , height of screen , stretched 400% fit.  whenever enemy destroyed 'splat' rendered

first let me new linux , may in on head. unable copy iso or of extracted files 32gb sd card. keep getting i don't have permission . made of files on card. used gpart remove files in both partitions. not delete them other way. when went add file "basyskom-plasma-active-three-wetab-exopc-tablet-mer-release.iso" sd card said don't have permission. extracted files: isolinux folder put in "boot" folder on sd card liveos folder not given permission add newly partition folder. have have many different ways access system root on pc , have tried change permissions on sd card, nothing has worked. appreciated. permission-usb-sd_card.jpg because (copying) or installing, . . . anyway, using files require "superuser" permission. using keyboard, press , hold "alt" key , tap "f2" key. when little window pops up, type: gksudo nautilus , press enter o

this occuring on 2 machines-- 2008 macpro nvidia quadro 4000 , macbook pro retina nvidia gt650m   adobe cc software date.   since installing os x 10.9.2 premiere pro cc hang midway through loading plug-ins. @ different point. ae cc hangs @ initializing media core. occurs on both machines. after letting sit while see if loading continue, force quit. force quit freezes computers (both computers) requiring hard power-down restart. on few attempts, ppro open when trying either open existing project or creating new project, app hang. can force quit without hanging system. other times, can force quit ppro ui remains on screen , system unstable, requiring either signing out , signing in same or different user or restart.   cuda version 5.5.24. had updated cuda 5.5.48 version 10.9.2 created above symptoms. have downgraded cuda 5.5.24, restarted, problem persists.   i on chat adobe tech rep refused escalate case unless hard crashed, rebooted, created new user admin privileges , tried launch ppr

i have been using virt-manager long time after upgrade ubuntu 13.04 can no longer start virt-manager? i've done searches can't find bugs reported. got clues how troubleshoot this? hi, having problems. figure possibly there incompatibility in configuration files. handle that, moved .vdi file folder , deleted vitrualbox vms directory used contain it. next went looking release on oracle website. don't have 13.04 version. means trying make older 1 work unsupported kernel. recompile kernel, need correct header files , don't exist . . . etc. next went ubuntu software center , installed version of virtualbox. understand it, ose version (which guess means open source edition) - read somewhere in forums oracle don't support it. started version , created new virtual machine without hard drive. recreated directory had earlier deleted , moved .vdi file it. finally, under settings new virtual m

hi,   sorry if i'm starting new discussion if not absolutely necessary i'm @ point i'm little frustrated. can't support on adobe website needed. got call centre in england due bad telephone lines support non-existent.  don't location on "to ask question".   this adobe acrobat xi pro version 11.0.06 crashes.  nog new issue.  download upgrade adobe website , try install thing on mac.  went fine until window asks select software want upgrade (that in first time i've ever seen question on upgrade). when select adobe acrobat xi pro in applications directory end of story.  button should press proceed stays greyed out!  have go , nice answer installation unsuccessful.   i'm using marvericks version 10.9.2 time , never had problems acrobat.  problem started few days ago.   i see other users have problems re-installation of acrobat pro.  have not attempt try it.   thanks in advance andre 11.0.6 appears latest, seems right that, after checking, upgrade opt

hi guys, have old hi-speed usb 2.0 card on pci slot in computer, believe it's via card. problem sometimes, usb ports don't work in ubuntu, , @ others, works well. when doesn't work, when plug in usb drive, drive's light flash briefly , nothing. if @ these times restart pc usb in port, recognize when rebooted, , if plug in drive recognize them, , afterwards, may regain functionality of usb ports. there way fix this? driver problem or something? or port refreshing problem? so i'm not sure if has been brought before on these forums didn't see when googling question.   for reason illustrator cs6 layer arrows have disappeared.  not allowing me drop down objects within layer unlock objects within layer.  not sure if i'm explaining if view 2 images of screen, you'll see i'm have problem 1 file.  other fine (as other files) , gives me drop down arrows allowing me go in , select or unlock individual objects within layer.  please know why doing this?  need finish project end of week can't finish if can't edit multiple objects within layers.  possibly bug?  don't think so. may have disabled accidentally somehow. any appreciated!     go layers panel menu > panel options , see if show layers only option enabled. if so, disable it.   it document specific setting.
