Thread: Is it possible to restore win7/8 with its appropriate drivers etc?

hi, know it's may not ubuntu, felt not put post anywhere else.
however, thinking getting gaming laptop can start playing serious games , create games, since overpriced , extra-featured(3d, video graphics, sound graphics etc), bit scared if try triple boot (if it's ever possible that!!!!!) on laptop , crashes , looses imporatant software part. so, possible windows identify appropriate drivers them features fundamental one?

i not sure understand question. more familiar ubuntu windows. know in linux drivers hardware compiled kernel. is, if drivers exist. know drivers not exist or have use proprietary drivers, if exist.

think things different in windows. because os comes pre-installed necessary drivers put in , set manufacturer. off shelf copy of windows have necessary hardware drivers kinds of hardware. doubt that. when building computer run windows have make sure hardware windows certified. means driver comes hardware.

built own computer 5 years ago. motherboard came windows drivers , utilities never used because did not install windows. if buy laptop windows pre-installed, not think copies of drivers. why these machines have recovery partitions , utilities. have no experience windows , scared try dual or triple boot machine windows 8 pre-installed.
