howdy, downloaded minimal install iso intention of command line installing ubuntu onto asus eeepc has 2gb of ram , 4gb of ssd. can use iso fine , dandy on virtualbox, when hit "command-line install" on eee spins external disk drive , hangs. see menu displayed perfectly, command-line install highlighted. tried livecd, same result got suggestions? installing on 4gb ssd not idea. need more space eventually, if go minimal install. can, run out of space when start installing other software. boot bios , see if uefi enabled, check mode sata set to: ide, raid or ahci. report back. check if there intel srt enabled , report back. i trying export files illustrator in eps format, used in program called "blufftitler". documentation pretty sparse , doesn't go detail. mentions following:   "limited support blufftitler has limited eps support. imports filled shapes built out of lines , curves uncompressed, unoptimized eps files."   no matter settings try in illustrator when exporting eps file, won't open in blufftitler, , keeps throwing me errors. tried choosing "illustrator 3" format, , turning off preview option. tried "expanding" shape several times too. there other way in illustrator export bare-bones eps files without extras or other stuff might cause problems other programs?   the funny thing is, when create eps files program, such vector magic, work fine in blufftitler - seems have problem eps files created in illustrator specifically.   any appreciated, in advance! the main problem blufftitler doesn't have eps handler can import eps files 10k each , not ov

i'm little confused on going on page numbering.   user selects how many pages generated "spawned" via drop down boxes. each pages gets numbered , there total number field gets populated code: this.numpages;   i understand page number starts out page 0 , continues there. being said because users using reader "11" know cant delete first page therefore have used following code reflect correct number of pages: this.numpages - 1;   the issue when pages populated shows total number of pages including page cant deleted, ie if user selects 3 pages created there total of 4 pages based on first page not being able deleted. correct total page number isn't being changed until start inputing data fields. idea on why might be?   i have attempted add calculatenow() function without success.   the total number page text box named same on each page.       thanks help.     nathan More discussions in JavaScript adobe

i have 500gb hard drive, partitioned 3 sub drives using windows 7. when switch on laptop, not getting booted , i'm getting error message error code: 0142. have installed ubuntu 10.10 , able use laptop. when try access 1 of drive, below error message (i'm able access other 2 drives no issues): error mounting: mount exited exit code 13: ntfs_attr_pread_i: ntfs_pread failed: input/output error failed read ntfs $bitmap: input/output error ntfs either inconsistent, or there hardware fault, or it's a softraid/fakeraid hardware. in first case run chkdsk /f on windows reboot windows twice. usage of /f parameter very important! if device softraid/fakeraid first activate , mount different device under /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g. /dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabcc1). please see 'dmraid' documentation more details. can please let me know how can resolve this. thanks. quick googling shows error code

i've looked online, , adobe , other sources create custom subpicture (as in animation highlight buttons not provided default) , same thing: open menu in photoshop, select button folder , create new layer in each named (=1) , making shape.   the problem is, photoshop doesn't allow me open layers wants me simplify them, claims "not compatible". i'm still bit of newbie photoshop, pretty sure i've done instructed , genuinely @ loss now...   any appreciated! why oh why can't encore more intuitive... i not sure doing. opening layer should not problem.   so let's on same page...   open encore, create new test project dvd, add menu. doesn't matter one.   right click on menu added, , pick "edit menu in photoshop." can "open menu" in photoshop (outside encore), simpler in long run edit encore.   you see button groups + symbol in front. , triangle (showing closed button group) left. click triangle, , should see layers in group. work?

hallo!   id cc: bild im anhang zeigt symbolisch seiten mit zweiseitigem layout. orangene vierecke symbolisieren grafiken welche mit einer "liste/nummerierung" automatisiert der reihenfolge nach durchnummerieren.   ich möche nun grafiken auf der seite 3 plazieren (5-7), welche nicht wie grafiken 1-4 in eine spalte passen, sondern über 2 spalten reichen. diese grafiken sollen fix (statisch) immer auf seite 3 verbleiben, auch wenn auf seite 1 od. 2 ein text/grafik hinzugefügt wird und sich damit die absätze verschieben (dann soll der text zwischen den grafiken fließen/sich verändern- ohne die grafikposition 5-7 zu verändern).   geht alles durch einfaches ausschneiden und die grafik die gewünschte position einfügen (vom textfluss gelöst). benötige aber auch eine nummerierung, nur im textfluss in richtiger reihenfolge geschieht oder durch einen textanker setzen. habe mit den textankeroptionen  aber schon viel herumprobiert und bekomme das einfach nicht hin. oder geht das nicht? wo
