Thread: GIMP Pressure Senstivity with Synaptics Touchpad?

recently i've replaced vista ubuntu make laptop atleast work normal.
far i'm experiencing ubuntu without major errors or whatsoever luckily.
anyways, after doing things installing fingerprint scan, video drivers etc etc. wanted figure out how make possible enable pressure sensitivity in gimp.

notebook lenovo 3000 n200 (pretty old one) yet has synaptics touchpad (or uses driver atleast)
@ windows vista saw @ little icons @ taskbar how hard pushing touchpad (i.e changes color/circle becomes smaller)
laptop did know changes pressure @ moment. (didn't use gimp or other drawing program moment sensitivity testing, don't know if worked or not)

after researching ended @ topics/guides tablets, don't have (because can't effort 1 \o/, plus don't need 1 atm).
however, did found case, input devices settings > screen or disabled, alpha nor thickness of brush not change @ when changing pressure.

so, wondering, possible enable pressure senstivity touchpads? (not tablets).
