Thread: Triangulate wifi | What software or devices do I need to use?

does here have experience traingulating wifi signals? kind of software , hardware need? want show effect of "you here", "wifi here". know can find wifi singal strength , signals. want able see direction , how far away.

have have 2 wireless devices , use them doppler or can accomplished single device.

hi, don't think have exact answer want, similar. installed dd-wrt firmware on router (it's great open-source firmware that's better stock way options, etc...) , called wiviz (i'm not sure of exact name). anyway utility shows 3d map of networks around (and clients too) in grid. it's hard pinpoint networks , utility isn't great it'll give idea. don't know accuracy though.

edit: it's called wiviz, might want see if can find install on pc...
