Thread: How to adjust screen resolution?


i try follow http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/14434...buntu-live-cd/ virus scan. when last bit want start scan, "start" scan button out of reach. below bottom of screen. can't move dialog upwards or re-size can button click it.

nevertheless can't find anywhere can re-define screen resolution can button. surprise me screen resolution cannot adjusted.

please tell me have missed!

run ubuntu 9.04 desktop edition live cd without installation.

open terminal , type

this give list of supported resolutions.

you select resolution with

code:
xrandr -s <resolution>
so me select 800x600 type

xrandr -s "800x600"
