Thread: ubuntu server 12.04 & Network Manager problem with privileges

hello,
use ubuntu 12.04.2 lts openbox , lightdm

installed , run network manager when try connect wifi error

code:
** (nm-applet:1453): warrning **: failed add/activate connection: (32) insufficent privileges.
i can run network manager sudo , connect uncomfortable.

please tell me how add needed privileges user manage networks?

tried network manager wiki , google, i'm newbie in linux , wasnt able this.

right-click on nm-applet icon in taskbar, edit wireless connection , save. untick "make available users" box before saving. if you're human user on system, should ok.

if want make available users, you'll need run nm-applet sudo first.

once settings saved, there's no need run sudo. @ least, that's been experience.
