Thread: Dell xps l502x graphics troubles

hello!

i'm pretty new ubuntu, so i'm working zorin os

i've been trying nvidia geforce gt 540m graphics card working... i've followed of instructions on bumblebee project website, , got installed correctly , should (as far know) doesn't seem want work... when run $ optirun glxspheres terminal opens new window labeled glxspheres displays nothing sort of screen cap of what's behind window @ time.

when run program terminal reads follows:

$ optirun glxspheres
polygons in scene: 62464
visual id of window: 0x21
context direct
opengl renderer: geforce gt 540m/pcie/sse2

may ubuntu noob seems terminal believes running correctly?

said window captures whats behind @ time , continues nothing. window refuses close without terminating terminal program first.

here system specs if necessary:

zorin os 6.2 (ubuntu version 12.04 lts)
intel quad core i7 processor
8gb ddr3 ram
nvidia geforce gt 540m/pcie/sse2
700gb hdd sata 7200rpm

if have idea i've done wrong or if it's known issue please let me know.
brand new if think won't understand won't... have little knowledge sort of thing please keep simple possible simple brain
