Thread: System Stalls During Live Session of Ubuntu 13.04

hi everyone,

going install ubuntu 13.04 today via usb. able boot usb without issue, clicked on try ubuntu, test out , took 5mins load desktop. searched gparted in dash free space on hd first , while searching, ubuntu live showed fuzz on screen , stalled. had hard shut down , restart of computer.

i concerned if during live session computer stalls/locks may during partitioning drive. should not concerned , next time select install ubuntu option instead of going try ubuntu? or better off installing ubuntu 12.04.2 lts instead.

hear 13.04 faster 12.04.2, new features. @ same time need stable use on everyday basis. far, before install, 13.04 making me bit concerned. thoughts/suggestions?

whats computer specs? video. have windows installed?
