Thread: iDevices won't mount

i installed 12.10 , selected "do nothing" , "always preform action" iphone when plugged in. phone won't mount, or recognized nautilus existing. despite this, lsusb puts out:

this same thing happens both iphone 4s, , sister's ipod touch 4g, both running ios 6.1
