Crop tool settings

prior yesterday able crop , image, move image around using shift/drag motion.  resize desired too.  yesterday changed.  can crop once, won't allow me resize , when try shift/drag jumps photo in library.  did inadvertently change setting?  i'm using lr 5 on mac.  suggestions.
