Thread: Frontend not Conecting to DB error 130

hi all,

have bad trouble getting backend connect net.

needed static ip on backend read http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2081392 , followed chili555 instructions dns-nameservers primary, secondary of router.

file "/etc/network/interfaces" edited following:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.1.3
gateway 192.168.1.1
netmask 255.255.255.0
dns-nameservers 180.181.127.3 180.181.127.4
this connected backend. good, but...

but, frontend not connect db. checked settings , forum no joy have re-installed frontend.

problem stuck init setup looping "country", "language" , "database configuration 1/2". hostname 192.168.1.3, password etc correctly entered. when try escape loop restarts setup dialog again message having error:130.

can turn power off. if re-boot starts setup again.

how recover situation?
or how fix backend static ip config?

appreciate members.

i getting no in terms of success.

have tried changing line "dns-nameservers 180.181.127.3 180.181.127.4" value "8.8.8.8 192.168.1.1", no joy.
have no other rational ideas.

frontend continues loop in setup screen , "cancel" generates error 130 when re-starting setup loop.

need of network experts chili555 me solve problem.

knowledge powerful thing.
