Thread: Dell D630 and Broadcom 4311


i trying build dell d630 on ubuntu 12.10. have working on 2 other machines (hp pavilions) without issue, can't wireless card work on dell.
has b43 wireless chip (bcm4311) has i've had issues connecting with. have tried several fixes , can't working. thank goodness wired lan works!!
i've installed correct b43 firmware according archlinux wiki.
checking modules shows this:
