Thread: Dual screen has worked, not anymore. Screen turns on but not usable.

hi, i've got ap problem xubuntu 12.10. i'm using dual monitors , installed packages make work. funny thing did work required random hassling option untill confing working. repeated every time machine booterd , seemed work. howeven, has stopped working , can't again...

when configure xfce4 use dual screen second screen turn blue, no further output used, no windows placable on screen , cursor cannot reach it. funny thing desktop environment seems render ther interface nicely. workspace tabs wide , dektop show on screenshots, still no usable output on screen.

i'vre tried replacing vga cable , runs ising dvi (hdmi<->dvi) , still no luck, think ati card installed.

things tried removing old xfce4 configurations , rebooting multiple time. perhaps has suggestions?
