Illustrator CS6 - Black?

hi,

in illustrator document in rgb mode, why black r 0 g 0 b 0 translating c 91 m 79 y 62 k 97 default? isn't weird? mean use 4 times more ink print black?

still in rgb mode, when try make black c 0 m 0 y 0 k 100, defaults c 75 m 65 y 62 k 82 (r 34 g 34 b 33). why?

however, in cmyk mode document, can black c 0 m 0 y 0 k 100 , translating r 34 g 34 b 33.

my final question why same r 34 g 34 b 33 black translates differently in cmyk depending on color mode of document?

- c 75 m 65 y 62 k 82 in rgb mode

- c 0 m 0 y 0 k 100 in cmyk mode

thanks

vincent,

it inherent limitations in conversion between 2 fundamentally different colour modes.

illy best help, trying make least worst (non) equivalent colour.
