Small Node handles In Illustrator

i seeking information on newer versions of illustrator. seems need eyes of hawk pick node handles.

 

i have used illustrator years, after vision impairment, noticed how small node handles in cs2 , 3.

 

i tired serif drawplus , have nice big square handles... prefer illustrators features.

 

i trying find if there way see handles better in illustrator. not think small handles anyone's vision.

 

while can't afford newer version of illustrator... know if that... node handles have been improved in later versions, or same?

when open application, go illustrator > preferences (mac) or file > preferences

from there, click on selection , anchor display , change tolerance value greater - 5 pixels.

 

while can't change size of actual handle dots, can change how appear , can increase area around them selectable, tolerance, making them easier select.

 

(in short, answer question no - isn't can change.)
