Thread: minimal install to full desktop

hello. sorry bad english.this first linux experience. week read tutorials ubuntu, did experiments in vmware , final conclusion of kde, built minimal installation , need help.
1. need tutorials samba (or else) share folders user , password on network windows xp, 7 or 8
2. have question flash player , firefox. saw latest version of flash player 11.2. plugin works best firefox sites flash content. chrome not much, i'm used firefox.
3. ubuntu kde want install on laptop have 2 gb of ram. system on vmware consume 300 mb. there chance make system use more ram?? have applications use often.
4. need documentation on bash scipting, want make script automate installation minimal full desktop.
5. need program preferably console (less resources) change desktop wallpaper after while.
6. alternative daemon tools or porweriso windows.
7. want make menus smaller ex. size dolphin. (snapshot 1)
8. not know it. (snapshot 2)
9. want screen text windows 7 or 8, or nicer. (snapshot 3)
