Ungroup All Items with JavaScript, Illustrator CS6

i'm working on pretty complicated illstrator files. each file has 20 or layers, , many of layers have multiple sublayers. each of sublayers contain many grouped items, , grouped items contain additional grouped items. , on. there's literally hundreds of groups in each file, , don't want manually ungroup them.

 

so i'm writing attempting write javascript ungroup grouped items , keep them inside correct layer. i'm new javascript , new-ish concept of recursion. idea loop recursively through layers, loop recursively through grouped items, move items above grouped items. seems other people have demonstrated on forum (or @ least how understood it). i'm posting screenshot of i've written far. have ungroups many groups, errors out eventually. replies, ideas, or references appreciated. thanks.

Illustrator CS5 javascript JPEG export 300 DPI & max quality
