XML File Location?

hi - may strange question i'm hoping can me.  i'm supposed copy , paste customer's xml file server whenever it's been updated through dw when it's ftp connected.  far i've not been able access server have no way of knowing xml file resides.  here page pulling xml:

i assumed there's kind of folder on server holding file, called "matrix."  life of me, after looking @ above link's code, cannot fine saying matrix file.

 

in dw, made small test page , set spry data set , took picture of code [seen below]:

 

 

spry shows file in photo above can't find on link.  also, people telling me have upload xml file via wordpress (the above site uses wp cms) when did - uploaded xml file through wp - not over-write previous version instead re-names (like matrix1.xml).

 

so i'm thinking way upload , replace having dw ftp access , copy , paste new xml server.

 

is analogy correct?  can see path might overlooking in above page points matrix file?  want make sure xml file resides on above link's server in directory.

in wp, uploads saved in /wp-content/uploads - location within uploads folder depend on permalink structure have selected in wp settings.

 

in image provided, matrix.xml file @ same folder level test file created.
