Thread: DNS in Ubuntu 12.04 and VPN
i hope well. here's problem (i'll explain how got here):
running ubuntu 10.04, , got mullvad , vpn service because anonymous , cheap.
mullvad vpn service installed on 10.04 , have used 1-2 months, without issue.
finally, in january installed ubuntu 12.04 via upgrade 10.04, leaving mullvad installed. still worked properly.
recently, however, no changes software (as far know other ubuntu updates, mullvad wasn't working correctly. connected, without green checkmark indicating displayed in 12.04 , 10.04. still browse internet..until 2 days ago.
subscription expired, , started mullvad (but without option block connections on failure, because not subscriber). still left mullvad installed however. later, restarted computer, , time did not start mullvad/vpn @ all.
no longer access domain names, except typing in ip addresses of sites. searched via startpage, , found couple articles. apparently, supposed move /etc/resolvconf.
did , cannot access dns.
