Thread: Dockbarx and XFCE 4.10?

i have kinda old netbook, running xubuntu 12.10 , want use dockbarx. found instructions online, don't quite remember commands had run believe apt-get install dockbarx , dockbarx-plugin (or similar that, cant remember).

anyhow, @ moment can go menu -> accessories -> dockx (also have dockbarx preferences, have not yet found solve problem in there) , load dockbarx vertically along side of screen. not want, want in panel.

while searching google, noticed suggested install xfce4-xfapplet-plugins, when attempt error message stating "e: package 'xfce4-xfapplet-plugin' has no installation candidate" , not sure means.

searching google seems reveal positive results dockbarx , xfce 4.8 cant find 4.10. dockbarx compatiable xfce 4.10? if not, can downgrade 4.8?

i using dockbarx in xfce 4.10 session. login xfce , edit post.

edit: have dockbarx 0.90.3 installed via ppa , in preferences > dock there location setting. if not seeing may running different version. use xfce session , not xubuntu.
