Thread: kernel update disk space error


hi guys,

i've been getting error when kernel updates happen saying i'm out of disk space.
had less 1gb last time happened, purged old kernels , seemed fix problem. now, more 1gb of disk space receiving same error. time, decided fix , moved /var partition gives me 2.5gb of free space. should plenty!
but, when running sudo apt-get -f install still receiving same error. can't think error message wrong , else @ play here can't find answers point other disk space issue. ideas?

check /boot partition new kernel installs placed.

can try removing old kernel/headers free space in /boot partition.
