Thread: Menubar Style: Top Screen Menubar... but it doesn't place itself properly. Eh?

kubuntu 12.10 64 bit, kde 4.10.1 via ppa.

tinkering around menubar option found in system settings - application appearance - fine tuning - menubar style. doesn't appear operating way anticipated. it's keeping menubar down quite bit further expected. in order me select item, have hover cursor *exactly* on pixel wakes up... opposed being on monitor edge mouse hitting edge of screen bring up.

here screenshots i'm trying explain bit difficult. first cursor getting close area, can see blue glow. second woke menubar. why not going top edge of screen? ideas?

Some mp4 files not displaying correctly (CS6)

a week ago in premiere pro cs6 world. one day updated windows, next day few .mp4 video files opened in premiere pro, played fine well, except fact display has green (sometimes multicolour, solid green block) bars in lower third of screen. see screenshot below.   these same files open/display fine in after effects, photoshop , vlc- , quicktime players. i'd read fromyears ago windows updates causing this, removed 1 of therecent kb's no avail. i did install adobemediaencodertrial_64-6.0.3-mul-adobeupdate and dynamiclinkmediaserverretail-1.0.1-mul-adobeupdate and reverted quicktime 7.6 but nothing makes difference.   in end, formatted c:\, reinstalled windows 7 ultimate 64bit , downloaded/installed 260 updates , reinstalled cs6 (and aforementioned ame , dlms updates , qt7.6) it's still same problem.   also tried exporting (part of) 1 of these files, see if wasn't display problem: exported file same properties original has green bars.   what else can do?   thanks in advanc
