Internal server reporting bug in Captivate 7.0.1 (mac)

i running captivate 7.0.1 on mac , have bizarre problem internal server reporting.

 

this bug not same http://forums.adobe.com/message/6230640#6230640 came light while troubleshooting issue.

 

for of these captivate projects, using exact same project - thing changing server address in internal server reporting dialog box.

 

i have local test website , production website, both of set listen internal server reports fed captivate.

 

if run captivate project on local server , have report local server, reports fine.

if run same project on local server , have report production server, not report anything. there no error message, , production server not see attempts access reporting page.

if run project on local server, have report local server , save data sent via post (eg, coursename, filename, filedata), , use hand-created form send data local server production server, production server sees report.

 

so, there bug in captivate's internal server reporting feature. need know how work around this. happy post example reporting files, code, etc. if assist.

 

i have quadruple-checked urls in internal server reporting dialog box , have others looked on them well.

as update in case stumbles upon page later: apparently internal server reporting works when captivate project hosted on same domain internal server receiving report. haven't found documenting why limitation exists; assume it's cross-site scripting issue it's frustrating limitation not specified anywhere.
