Thread: 3 TB disks & Ubuntu


i'm considering building next pc. have ubuntu on ssd , files on large disk. know 2t disks not problem, 3t? make difference os on ssd?

if there command line kung fu done, find information?

appreciated.

whether system uefi or bios, both ssd & hard drive should gpt partitioned. hard drive have gpt see more 2tb. can use gparted create gpt partitioning or download gdisk fdisk gpt partitioning.

arch suggests gpt ssd. if installing windows on older system may want mbr windows boots gpt uefi.
