Thread: Wi-Fi requiring authentication

hi, i'm windows user, , today decided give ubuntu 12.10 try. downloaded , installed on acer aspire 1 c70. far, good. however, when tried connect internet through wi-fi, wasn't allowed so. after feeding password (correct password, double-checked), network manager tries connect around half minute, tells me authentication required. tried solutions online, none worked.

wireless security set wpa & wpa2 personal. checked laptop (using windows 7) , setting set wpa2 doubt if that's problem. note box 'available users' ticked.

kind enough guide me on should access internet netbook please? in advance

ps since i'm new ubuntu user, i'd appreciate if told how thing, instead of telling me do... i.e. if ask me provide log, please tell me retrieve it.
