, here fixes i've tried
nohwcrypt (all below fixes done in conjunction this, also)
disable ipv6code:i created file /etc/modprobe.d/ath9k.conf contains line options ath9k nohwcrypt=1
disable 11n in iwlagncode:i appended file /etc/sysctl.conf include lines net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1 net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1 net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6 = 1
blacklist acer_wmi modcode:i created file /etc/modprobe.d/iwlagn-disable11n.conf contains line options iwlagn 11n_disable=1 (though of course, don't see mod running)
turn off power managementcode:i appended file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf contain line blacklist acer_wmi
code:i ran command iwconfig wlan0 power off
has been driving me nuts, , preventing me working, 5 months. please let me know more can provide, or else try. thank you.
disable hardware encryption , power management of card:
code:echo "options ath9k nohwcrypt=1" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/ath9k.conf sudo modprobe -rfv ath9k sudo modprobe -v ath9k sudo iwconfig wlan0 power off
