Flash 12.0.0.77 is installed but it's not working

mac os 10.6.8

firefox 27.0.1

flash player 12.0.0.77

 

when try install flash player, message 'installation complete'. when got adobe's flash information page box red font correctly lists os, browser version , flash player version. see clouds moving in test image. flash player not installed anywhere. it's not listed under applications or in library under internet plug-ins. when go firefox, tools, add ons, plug-ins, shockwave flash says version 12.0.0.77 , listed 'always activate'. did clean uninstall , reinstall , did not help. so, how fix problem?

you may looking in wrong library.

mac hd/system/library

[user]/library

 

it's in internet plug-ins folder of mac hd library

 

or can spotlight search "flash player.plugin"

 

 

and lastly, have checked safari preferences under security sure "allow other plug-ins" checked?
