Thread: No audio from ATI Raedon Juniper XT 5700

i posted in absolute beginners section, because frankly while i'm windows nerd can make windows problems disappear, new linux. have ubuntu 12.1 , surprised see once got installed, there no audio. went knowing have "build car ground up" speak, , in infinite hard headedness have been beating head around problem past couple hours. here asking help.

here specs. hope resolve issue because see no reason keep linux if can't have audio.
