Thread: Wifi connectivity problem to a particular network

i have wifi connectivity problem particular network in ubuntu12.04 in laptop(hppavilion g6).i can connect wifi @ home.but @ office doesn't connect.i have entered right password still shows connecting , shows wireless disconnected.the wifi device detected , asks password.but doesn't connect.my friends laptop getting connected.can me solve problem?

this happened me once. think it's glitch in network manager... not sure why. anyway did clicked network button on top right, clicked edit connections, deleted network settings saved, , tried connect again, , worked (the automatic connection not able connect on own). don't know if manger saves network in case... sure no mac filtering enabled @ work prevents connecting? might want try connecting using wicd instead of default network manager comes ubuntu. if have windows, try connecting using windows see if possibly driver problem. if have old card, maybe doesn't support encryption types (try installing hwinfo , type in hwinfo --netcard see encrpytion types card supports). hope i'm right on , helps.

Some mp4 files not displaying correctly (CS6)

a week ago in premiere pro cs6 world. one day updated windows, next day few .mp4 video files opened in premiere pro, played fine well, except fact display has green (sometimes multicolour, solid green block) bars in lower third of screen. see screenshot below.   these same files open/display fine in after effects, photoshop , vlc- , quicktime players. i'd read fromyears ago windows updates causing this, removed 1 of therecent kb's no avail. i did install adobemediaencodertrial_64-6.0.3-mul-adobeupdate and dynamiclinkmediaserverretail-1.0.1-mul-adobeupdate and reverted quicktime 7.6 but nothing makes difference.   in end, formatted c:\, reinstalled windows 7 ultimate 64bit , downloaded/installed 260 updates , reinstalled cs6 (and aforementioned ame , dlms updates , qt7.6) it's still same problem.   also tried exporting (part of) 1 of these files, see if wasn't display problem: exported file same properties original has green bars.   what else can do?   thanks in advanc
