Using Lightroom 5 with Photoshop CS4
hi folks. new here. novice convert digital photography , have browsed discussions concerning lightroom , elements in main.
is there need buy lightroom 5 deal cataloguing , searching imported raw images photoshop cs4, photoshop bridge 4 comes photoshop cs4? strategy dealing libraries of images? have chance aquire inexpensive versions of lr 5 , p cs4.
for information - using macbook pro quad core i7 processor, 16 gb ram, 1 tb flash drive , camera canon powershot sx50 hs.

lightroom 5 give more powerful catalog compared bridge file browser however, elements organizer need tell lightroom folders manage (import) before start using available tools , output options.
lightroom 5 give latest raw engine , pair cs4 need pixel editing e.g. using layers, masking, text etc. cs4 has less advanced version of camera raw lr5 not problem provided choose let lightroom render tiff or psd file when go cs4. automatically see pop box 2 choices:
- render using lightroom
- open anyway
ensure choose option 1 best results. can turn off pop-up on first occasion choose “edit in cs4” not show every time thereafter.
