Thread: Linphone via sip

hi,

problem: cannot phone landlines.

trying find make viopbuster account work on linphone has been nightmare.
threats old no solution, or program not way described more.
people works, @ work , post settings once @ home never come !

trying again.
using linphone 3.3.2 (i know there version 3.5 on linphone web site, .tar.gz 1 supposed unpack, run `./configure' , `make' compile package. , returns same error returns when run command: "no target found, no file indicated".

anyway, sip settings:
display name: name
username: myusername@voipbuster.com (also tried "myusername")

sip identity: sip:myusername@voipbuster.com
sip proxy address: si:sip.voipbuster.com
route (optional): sip:
registration duration (sec): 3600
register @ startup (yes)
publish presence information (yes)

there popup window asking password, accepted.

have opened port 5060 on router ip (which made fixed ip).

when start linphone command line, errors:

know have dial "00 + country code + phone number.
tried connect voipbuster on computer account, , able phone linphone not linphone voipbuster.
status on bottom bar either "ready" or "registration on sip:sip.voipbuster.com successful."

added users show offline although online.

have tried many other softwares no result. ekiga worse not being able configure network. others did not said connect.

i wonder... possible trying or myth?
