Flash Player installation... almost!

hi,

i have windows 7 home premium os, ie 11.09600.16521ic, , have installed flash player 12_0_0_77 number of times (including clean installs) when tested after each time returned "not installed" , directed install yet again. latest fix this?

(i admit twice test -"clouds pattern"- returned positive, i retested , "not installed" reappeared result subsequently) on websites video clips not play -stating not have latest flash player installed right after installation.

the "installations" enabled too, according tools>manage add-ons -showing shockwave flash object.

i looked, more @ "advanced" tab in settings, which says have "activex version" installed (of 12.0.0.77) but not the plug-in version. meant "plug-in version" exactly?  appears has installed things happen,

"user-agent strings"

that doesn't mean lot, i'm sure, it's root of problems, , flash player has nothing it.

microsoft "rewrote" user-agent strings abomination call latest , greatest browser. user-agent strings websites use identify browser you're using , provide proper content it's browser engine, activex stuff, , flash or html5 video. geniuses in redmond, wa, user-agent strings ie11 (which has trident engine), id either "gecko" (firefox) or "webkit" (chrome). problem is: when site directs content 1 of these 2 engines, trident engine in ie can't intepret , site sees ie "unidentified" browser.

the problem unidentified browser plug-ins in browser aren't recognized either, though you're date, says need latest flash player when use ie11. youtube... has converted html5 video if doesn't detect flash player, can display html5 (mp4) video requires no plug-in play. facebook can't that, because html5 doesn't apply games... video.

microsoft has no plans "fix" mess they've created because think it's great idea block out of websites visit.

they recommend using "compatibility view" , pretending you're using older verison of ie... problem it's seen limited success, , have enable every page has problems... individually.

i'm not big on "pretending" recommend using browser.

firefox (from mozilla)

opera (from opera)

safari (from apple)

chrome (from google)

any of work ie11 won't, flash player plug-in (for other browsers), , chrome doesn't need because has own flash player plugin built in.
