Thread: /boot is full...and removing old images...


ubuntu sever 12.04

hey folks, have server noticed /boot partition filling up. followed recommendations post...

..that worked great. question after executing commands remove few images like...

sudo apt-get remove linux-image-3.2.0-39-gen

...when list images sudo dpkg --list 'linux-image*', packages removed still show in list, though can see disk space has been freed up. missing?

you're not missing anything.

removed kernels marked rc.
