Thread: ubuntu server 12.04 apt-get problem


i have installed ubuntu server 12.04. when run apt-get (update, upgrade or install) not seem download , hangs on (norwegian) hent: xxx (fetch: xxx ?).

is normal behavior in ubuntu server? did command line update in (ubuntu) laptop end went quick smooth. checked sources.list on both machines , see no differences.

server has 2 nics.

removed routes , iptables settings in server, , internet seems work well. can ping ubuntu repositories. there no proxy
