Captivate 6 preloader - known issue?

evidently preloader not function in captivate 6.0.1.240 – users must wait until file 100% loaded before can see anything. poses hardship users, , severely limits what  designers can tool.

other posts on board  suggest known issue, , can resolved upgrading v7.

since company spent ton money buying master collection cs6, doubt budget approval buy cap 7 upgrade.

that said – can suggest workaround help?  average file size 50meg , publish lms hosted scorm package, , must reach users in remote areas poor connections.

last thought - flash code preloaders same in previous (functional) versions.... javascript issue?

to knowledge there no workaround issue other upgrading.

but think it...your company doesn't need upgrade cp7. need spend enough money purchase 1 subscription license of cp7, or else single box upgrade cp7 can used on someone's dev box upgrade , final publishing of cp6 courses resolve issue.  we're talking few hundred bucks outlay @ most.  rest of development team can continue cp6 99% of development cycle.

call me cynical, tend ignore organisations how care something.  measure real care factor according they're willing spend on it. if issue isn't worth spending few hundred dollars on, company doesn't care users in remote areas on poor bandwidth.  if rather have spending weeks of time looking alternate answers involve custom programming (aslo not cheap) rather obvious...
