Lightroom getting blues very wrong.


i've seen happen few times when shooting under led lighting lightroom seems have problem extremely saturated blues , somehow clips data , darkens it.

the left shows preview using canon raw codec windows, right shows how lightroom displays raw data using adobe standard profile. switching through profile variations improves result it's still clipped , hue way off.

 

i'm sure must bug in profile/acr code when dealing extreme blue values, if tweak blue hue/saturation in camera profile can recover clipped areas fact gets dark suggests problem in code.

anyone else noticed this? fear ss led lighting becoming more popular issue going crop lot more

don't think it's simple being bug ac/lr profiles, andy - photo ninja's rendition:

it's not same, it's the same sort of problem.

 

i suppose lr , pn might share (dcraw?) code...
