Map never comes online and usable

i can online browser (lenovo thinkpad, lots of ram, hd space) and have quick online response browsing inet site. 6 students pcs , macs using lr 5.3 in map module online wifi (guest in school building) in same room. we're on same guest network. @ home office computer, map module works on wifi lan.

 

but in class, laptop won't show map seeing. map screen in map module black, , lr reports map module offline. rest of screen in module looks normal. test computer being online @ moment = yes, , wideband response. connection , responsive. screen used show gray world map when offline, , screen map area black. disconnected projector vga cable, no change. 

 

this happens consistently, every week - in map module see map, have black screen. hard teach when can't illustrate.

 

what going on in computer identical software students' , when on network when else works fine on computer , theirs on network.

 

it doesn't hardware failure. there has setting --- ? --- there's nothing in prefs or cat settings. have problem - solved?

two things consider whether there firewall active , how configured.

the other possibility anti-virus software causing issues - try turning off , see happens.

 

if none of these sugestions work can further.
