Table Lines dropping out at Print from Indesign PDF

tables set in indesign header quite pale colour , rules in header set 0.5pt white. rules in main body of table pale colour @ 0.5pt.

 

everything prints ok except horizontal white rule in header. please see image below. it's line under 'all specific options' isn't printing, every other line prints , they're 0.5pt wide.

the missing line below 'merged cell wondered if might have it? created tables without merged cells problematic!

 

files created in adobe indesign cs6 , pdfs generated file. same software , settings run across number of macs final print has same problem no matter file generated. please note white rules show fine in high-res pdf file.

 

if has bright ideas wonderful!

Illustrator CS5 javascript JPEG export 300 DPI & max quality
