Thread: Live USB won't launch in persistent mode on all computers

i'm new ubuntu (second day using it) may not know terms of i'm trying say.

set ubuntu on 32gb usb drive 25gb partition save data on. works fine on computer set on (runs windows 7), , opens to

, saves data between sessions, etc.

tried plugging other computer (running windows 8 uefi). after configuring bios have usb priority, boots to

doesn't give me option boot in persistent mode. start if select trial mode, none of data or partitions show up. tried running boot repair, didn't seem anything. tried on windows 7 pc (can't confirm right now, i'm pretty sure used uefi) , had same issue.

why boot different screens, , how can windows 8 computera boot in persistent mode?

i confirmed other windows 7 pc uses uefi.

edit: tried on vista machine uses bios, didn't help. else noticed save data between session on other machines, not same data had on first machine. if start live mode on of other 3 machines, has 1 set of data. if start on original machine, has different set of data. have no idea storing data these other computers.
