Thread: SSD Desktop Install


i'm still not clear ssd performance should used home pc. mine has:
- boot/os hd (~27gb used)
- data (home) hd (~300gb used) .
- no (known) separate temp? whatever is.
i'm prepared shift around if necessary. i'm ready buy ssd. had thought 64gb ssd boot disk. reading above seems not.

should 1 use ssd best effect , size? thanks.

op using data partition temp copy files , out of.
how using 27gb in / separate /home? lots of stuff in .wine? years of log files?
have 9gb used in install on ssd in 27gb partition , includes /home, data on rotating drive.
