Thread: Sticking with Ubunto over Mint because of forum support

i consider myself noob when comes linux in flavor. though i'm aquainted cli in mac os, buit own rigs few times. google problem before posting. figure out things myself there things need commands used in cli solve problem.

i'm under thinking lot can done in cli in gui app solution problem..for part way.

i'm polite people, never condescending & try else problems. being said mint forums leave lot desired, condescending, ignore you, , few can down right insulting. last thing person needs when have computer problem mocking them or giving smart a$$ answers know have no bearing on issue @ hand.

when first started on quest drop mac os , move linux took decision making in os go with.

community in ubuntu forum has made decision me. , wasnt on post made or thread started, did search on problem on google came forum , description of problem being close clicked on it. showed me people here care keepin os on top, , not concerned helping others.

you don't need running ubuntu post support on forum.
other os/distro talk sub-forum gets lots of attention.
, problems affect wide range of distributions.

take of more common ubuntu forum members want solutions various problems people have.
setting aside personal beliefs on preferences whether or not operating system worthy of attention.
