Thread: Is there a way to get more information from Software Updater?

i clicked "details" doesn't show me much. want shown download speed, download remaining, total downloaded, etc... i've installed ubuntu , downloading updates through software updater. haven't used linux since ubuntu switched gnome 2 , never knowledgeable in first place, remember software updater used show lot of these details. there way enable them?

i'm not entirely positive can squeeze more information other options gives on window.

have tried updating system terminal? feel has lot more information presented, oppose clicking 'details' in software updater.

in case don't recall, can update system following 2 commands:
