Thread: Issue with Installing Ubuntu/ USB/ Oracle VB/ Running Windows 7

hello,

facing issue running ubuntu 13.04 via oracle virtual box 4.2.10.

steps have followed are:

1- i've downloaded oracle vm.
2- i've downloaded universal usb installer 1.9.3.3
3- i've downloaded ubuntu 13.04 desktop/64
4- run usb installer, , installed ubuntu usb flash.
5- i've downloaded extension pack.
6- set following: oracle vm, , extension pack.
7- opened oracle vb start running ubuntu, received following error:

vt-x/amd-v hardware acceleration has been enabled, not operational. 64-bit guest fail detect 64-bit cpu , not able boot.
please ensure have enabled vt-x/amd-v in bios of host computer.

p.s: edited usb, adding 1 in active status.

Some mp4 files not displaying correctly (CS6)

a week ago in premiere pro cs6 world. one day updated windows, next day few .mp4 video files opened in premiere pro, played fine well, except fact display has green (sometimes multicolour, solid green block) bars in lower third of screen. see screenshot below.   these same files open/display fine in after effects, photoshop , vlc- , quicktime players. i'd read fromyears ago windows updates causing this, removed 1 of therecent kb's no avail. i did install adobemediaencodertrial_64-6.0.3-mul-adobeupdate and dynamiclinkmediaserverretail-1.0.1-mul-adobeupdate and reverted quicktime 7.6 but nothing makes difference.   in end, formatted c:\, reinstalled windows 7 ultimate 64bit , downloaded/installed 260 updates , reinstalled cs6 (and aforementioned ame , dlms updates , qt7.6) it's still same problem.   also tried exporting (part of) 1 of these files, see if wasn't display problem: exported file same properties original has green bars.   what else can do?   thanks in advanc
