Thread: Ubuntu 12.10 installation gone wrong


so have external hard drive i've been using back-up (my old hard drive died) , last 2 things did on before started giving me error is: partioned drive ntsf , ext4, , tried installing 12.10 ubuntu onto (now) blank hdd.(but think somewhere in installation screwed up.) anyway here's error code:

dmesg | tail or so


please me asap. if gets on forum.

p.p.p.s im running off live cd atm. hdd 500gb. half tb wasted.

i understand tried installing external hd have tried making live usb? instructions here.
