Thread: trouble setting up VLAN between linux and L3 switch

hello,

trying setup 4 linux system connect.

while using non-tagged (default) network works fine.

when try setup vlan fails miserably..

switch cisco sg300 series.
ports set trunk - thought enable traffic able flow through these (tagged , non-tagged)

default network (non-tagged) has network mask:
192.168.1.0/24

, tagged vlan 10 has network mask:
10.0.10.0/24

on linux, have setup as:

boxa1 - br0 - non-tagged
boxa2 - br0 - non-tagged
boxb1 - br10 - vlan 10
boxb2 - br10 - vlan 10

trouble can not connect boxes:
boxb1
boxb2

using vlan network.

instance, in boxb1 try connect via ssh using ip:

ssh thisuser@10.0.10.3

times out. , tracepath or nmap can not find host on tagged network.

suggestion on how proceed.

p.s.: lost on topic

if not vms, how trying without bridging? bond0.10 or without bonding first, make sure works vlan. so, eth0.10.
