Thread: VPS Server connections fails everyday at 00:00:00 and 05:20:00

hi all,

got new vps (ubuntu 12) , works great. somehow @ midnight sharp , twenty past 5 am, network connection fails 30 minutes 1 hour or 2. happens everyday sharp. can't find error in log files. when connection via vnc thru host provider seems ok. low memory, low cpu usage, nothing strange. i've tring find problem last 10 days.... can't figure out.

with os fresh install connection alright, after installing apache, mysql , php connections starts fail again @ exacte same time.
there no crons running @ time, no new processes running, there no special consumption of memory or cpu. when connected via vpn can check apache web server , mysql running usual, file site pages can dowloaded thru localhost, though cannot access them thu ip adress or domain name.

don't know anymore. tried have in bag of tricks already.

hosting provider stated there no connections issues on side, checked system , sated aparently ok , mas somehow, @ midnight gtm , 5:20 connections fails.

changed system time, , connection keeps failing @ same exact time. not changed along system , hardware time. in periods i'm unable http, ftp, ssh, ping or traceroute server.

please, help.
