Thread: Trouble connecting Android phone

i have , android ics lg motion 770. used tutorial:http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2011/12/h...or-file-access try recognise phone. i'm running ubuntu 12.04. naturally substituded galaxynexis phones name. chekced double , triple checked. make sure commands typed in correctly. alias' in .bashrc file, directory created permissions correct, fuse.conf file has been uncommented on user_allow_other. phone shows in nautilus after type in cli android-connect. when click on error cant read files: 'fuse: bad mount point '/media/lgmotion770/' : transport endpoint not connected'

without doing @ all, when connect phone media device (mtp), file manager pops couple of windows internal storage , microsd music player along dialog "unable mount samsung_android_sgh-t999 error initializing camera: -60: not lock device". can see folders in root directory of those, folder double-click on appears empty (even music).

if switch usb connection on phone camera (ptp) can see files on phone's internal storage (like contents of music, etc.), microsd appears totally empty (not root folders).

if need or send between ubuntu 12.04 , phone, use android apps connectbot (ssh) or andftp (scp, sftp) connect ubuntu, or ssh server on phone connect ssh, scp, or sftp in ubuntu. use linux generated openssh keys in cases instead of passwords.
