hello, recently, noticed ttys 1 through 6 inaccessible me. when ever try enter them, results in display going sleep. did connect computer through vga slot, , machine running kubuntu (the 1 i'm running on right now) connects through dvi slot, total of 2 computers. if helps, i'm talking local ttys-the ones can access pressing ctrl-alt-f(whatever number). used these lot when wanted several commands running in own distinct environment, or when application freezes, , it's little annoying not having access them anymore. gladly appreciate can offer me.

using more 1 monitor? console ttys able run in primary (main) monitor, other monitors go blank (or sleep, described it).

graphic card has more 1 output? dvi or vga? try switching monitor other one, , try getting ttys there.
